The day
We headed to Ballarat for Katie & Mat’s special day, held at Willow & Stone Estate, a hidden gem situated in the heart of the city. This stunning property, nestled on the Yarrowee Creek, is the product of years of hand-crafted cultivation and fine landscaping. The Estate is a perfect wedding location, hosts Leisha and Carlos invite to you to have private use of the gardens and grand cottage for the entire weekend.
While Mat got ready at home with the boys, Katie and her tribe enjoyed the grand cottage at the Estate for their preparations. With the talented Katie Harmsworth on stills, we loved watching the day unfold. The ceremony, conducted by Jilly Martino, took place outside on the lawn, but the highlight was definitely their fur baby Henri. As Katie walked down the aisle alongside her Dad, Mat looked on lovingly but Henri’s tail showed the real excitement.
Katie was gorgeous in her stunning Georgia Young gown, from their Nolita collection. She looked relaxed and elegant with her hair by Boutique Hair Parlour and makeup by Bella Tunbridge. Mat and the boys were incredibly sharp in their Peter Jacksons suits.
The marquee setup for dinner was an amazing sight, featuring a masterpiece by Taylah Cake. The guests partied the night away under festoon lights on the outside dance floor, with entertainment from the Baker Boys band. Thanks Katie and Mat for an incredible weekend away!
