The day
Nat and Jimmy’s day was a perfect reflection of their personalities, with fun, laughter, dancing and music at it’s core. Family is very important to both Nat and Jimmy, and were lucky to have Jimmy’s family and friends from the UK as part of the day.
Nat was gorgeous in her sleek gown from One Day Bridal , with stunning hair and makeup by Diane Robertson. We began the day with a big celebration at Nat’s family home, with an incredible Lebanese band setting the perfect tone for the day’s festivities.
Their ceremony and reception were both held at the incomparable Stones of the Yarra Valley, a favourite venue of ours. The ceremony was led by Megan Thompson, and her mix of warmth and humour was perfect for the day. The tears really flowed, however, when Nat walked down the aisle to a song penned by Jimmy, and then again when he spoke his personalised poetic vows.
The party started immediately when Nat and Jimmy walked out of the chapel, performing their first dance alongside the dulcet tones of Like This band. The Lebanese musicians returned to kick off the reception, and dance floor remained full for the rest of the night.
